Wow. It’s a new year already.

So much had had happen last year. From good memories to bad ones. From happy feelings to sad ones. Here are some of the highlights of my previous precious year.

2017 was a memorable year for me. Started in January with a hella heartbroken then met someone whom I could call a good friend. Had my first experience of being an intern in a startup company for about 3 months, which I learnt a lot from. Tho, I had to postpone my graduation due to my own fault cos of not working on my thesis seriously.

    I've been wanting to go to this coffee shop ever since I saw them on Instagram ages ago, but haven't really had chance to pay a visit. Fortunately, my friend asked me to go out last Friday night, then I chose this place to feed my curiosity.

    It was around 7 in the evening when we arrived at the cafe, it looked pretty lovely from the outside. Btw, Fine Coffee has its indoor and outdoor spot. For indoor one, it has pretty lovely design mainly in black color and little touch of white ones with quotes on it. Nothing special for the outdoor one, but still they have that iconic wall of quote on it, a long one!

Nowadays coffee shops are no longer just places you can buy coffee, yet they are turning to be perfect place to calm your mind and relax your body. Minimalist interior design would be a perfect sanctuary to chill your tense soul after such a long weekday. Take your seat, and enjoy this lovely minimalist coffee shop I am about to tell you. It is an anti-mainstream one with less people bustling around. Perfect place to get lost in your books or thoughts if you are an introvert, like I am.

         Tiba-tiba handphone saya menerima panggilan dari nomer yang tidak dikenal. Nomer itu berasal dari operator yang sama seperti yang saya gunakan, XL-Axiata. Karena saya merasa tidak mengenal nomer tersebut, saya hanya diamkan saja sampai beberapa kali deringan. Tetapi, setelah beberapa kali deringan tersebut, akhirnya ya sudah, saya pikir mungkin urgent sekali sampai telepon segitu getolnya di pagi buta. Mungkin juga dari keluarga, karena kebetulan saya sedang tinggal jauh dari rumah. Ditambah lagi, kebetulan beberapa jam sebelumnya terjadi gempa di Yogyakarta.

A Place to Chill Out: English Ivy Coffee

Just another Sunday in my ordinary life. I woke up at 5am, replying to far-away friend’s texts, and fell back asleep. Next time I woke, it was 7 am. I’ve been thinking to go out since, but had no idea where to go. Wanted to get some coffee, but too bored to go to Starbucks. Yep, I went there that much which finally made me tired of going there.

Long story short, I decided to go to this cute coffee shop that a friend told me. I have never been there before, so I thought I should just give it a try. After a quick shower and lunch, I rode my scooter to get there by using google map. Fyi, I suck at reading map.
